Ups and Downs

Writing about life, you need an ocean of ink. Brains that think about life are not less either, actually all of us have our own views on life. For last few days I've been feeling a bit odd, may be I wanted the world to be myself. Shut, from even my friends, but today I feel really awkward even thinking about it. But, I think its really worth to keep off yourself and be alone to compose yourself. Its a good treatment to sit back and review.

Its a bit cloudy too, I've seen that always the nature adjusts itself to my moods. I feel it gets too personal with my feelings, may be thats why I love nature a lot.

Meanwhile, I feel I should start thinking of covering a new databse or software each day. May be I'd start soon on this, so that its always worth visiting my blog.

Science Day

Today's The Hindu has as usual the science supplement. I think there are a few interesting columns in it, one that's on evolutionary algorithm. Must be similar to my project during my advanced Diploma in Bioinformatics (ADBC).
I'll check it out and post about the column soon.

Also there is yet another column in editorial that speaks on Abraham Lincoln, a different side of it.Both worth reading.

Now or Never

A blog for life and the living thats what this blog stands for.

Here, I wish to give ideas and discuss, on Biology, the science of life. Mainly on bioinformatics and the like.

Idea on creating a blog or a wiki was proposed by my Prof. , Dr. Krishnaswamy at MKU, Madurai. It was like an assignment, so that he wanted it to done.

As usual it's human nature to be pushed on by some force or some need, so as to work. And work is something when it's forced upon, and play is some thing that you take up for yourself, which you think you enjoy (Mark Twain's Tom Sawyer, white washing a fence is a good example.)

We had nine of us in our Advanced diploma course in Bioinformatics at MKU,Madurai. All of us started our work on the blog. We had deadlines to post our ideas, which we hammered out of our already saturated brains. Now its like fun to think of, kind of nostalgia.

Earlier blog of mine on eLIFE, named Bioinfo gave links to databases and all sorts and I wanted to discuss on CDK2 which was my selction to work on Seq. analysis lab.

Now, this blog I would like to make it more personal and informal platform to discuss on life. Afterall today is the best day, Valentine's day, a day for those who live to love and to be loved.
